The Bannockburn region has a rich and interesting history, spanning from the goldrush days of the 1800s through to its current status as one of the countries premier wine growing regions.

The Bannockburn History Project records the history of the people who have lived in this area, celebrating  and preserving memories for us to enjoy today and for generations to come.  These stories have been brought together to form an exhibition:
