Liz Anderson shares delightful memories from her childhood growing up in Alexandra, the many sporting and recreational engagements, and the warm community. Liz recounts her family role in sport with her grandfather and father both playing for the All Blacks, and her son and grandson also successful rugby players. She goes on to describe her occupation in nursing, working at Clyde Hospital where it was important to be a “jack of all trades, as you never knew what would turn up at the door”, and also as District Nurse. Later in life, Liz extended her skills to many different community activities.
