Marion and Karl have lived for many years in the Teviot Valley, originally arriving to pick fruit, and eventually buying land and building. Marion describes her experience of living with Kyle for 25 years before Kyle felt able to share and begin on her transgender journey, and it was another 5 years before they were able to come out publicly to the community. She describes the challenges they faced together, and the joy of having her soul mate at her side. Marion is also an accomplished potter and describes how she came to take up potting.
