OUR LAND, OUR PEOPLE, OUR HISTORY IN 100 OBJECTS

The five museums across Central Otago have each selected 20 objects that tell the fascinating stories of a land rich in history. Together, these one hundred objects form a museums trail of discovery.

From a century-old wedding cake, a phone set used on the same line as New Zealand’s first telephone call, to Chinese medicine books and an exquisite green glass collection – the 100 Objects exhibition has something to delight all visitors.

This exhibition opening celebrates the meticulous research of staff and volunteers in curating this exhibition. You will also het a state of some of the 100 objects selected for this trail of discovery.
