HERITAGE COORDINATOR

(Part-time: 15 hours per week)

The Central Otago Heritage Trust is seeking to contract a Heritage Coordinator to play a pivotal role in managing and facilitating projects
and initiatives that protect, preserve, and celebrate the rich heritage of Central Otago. In this role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for heritage groups throughout the region, offering support as needed.

The ideal candidate will reside in Central Otago and have:

  • A strong passion for Central Otago’s history and heritage.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with member groups, local authorities and funding partners.
  • Proven expertise in marketing and communications, including website management, social media, print and online communications and event coordination.
  • A track record of being a self-motivated innovator who can develop and implement ideas effectively.
