Born in 1941, Anne lived in various parts of New Zealand and describes experiences such as the impact of WWII on family, and raising three daughters in the ’60s and ’70s. Anne later moved to Wanaka in the 1990s at the time her sister purchased Wanaka Wines and Spirits. She describes the experience of establishing life in a new town, her involvement with Wanaka Walkers, cross-country skiing and treasurer of the Wairau Nordic Ski Field, and eight cavalcades with the Goldfields Heritage Trust. Anne describes the changes she has seen in Wanaka over the last 25 years and the current issues facing the town.
