Dr Malcolm Macpherson, grew up in St Bathan’s and then moved to Alexandra. He is well known across the district having served as Mayor for three terms from 2001 to 2010. Malcolm was a member and chairman of many other organisations within the education, heritage, arts, health, tourism and community development sectors.
